"There is no power for change greater than a community discovering what it cares about." – Margaret J. Wheatley
Timberview Beautification Project
Timberview Board began the “Timberview Beautification Project” in 2019. The phrase, coined by Jack Causa, has been a huge undertaking to update many of the areas that were in need of attention, in Timberview. The first phase of the Timberview Beautification Project was a year-long project to update the 30 year old paint palette in Timberview. This was followed by: a large scale tree project, hiring a new landscaping company, new asphalt installation, ongoing erosion projects and new wayfinding. This project has also grown to include the new Timberview Website. Timberview HOA is excited to continue to add new infrastructure and improvements to the community and most importantly, enhance property values. Find out more about current and future projects:

Paint Palette Update
In March of 2018, Marion Billings, Helen Thompson and Laura Dunmyer began the process of updating the outdated color palette in Timberview. After a few months, Barrett Tucker and several other neighbors joined in and all volunteered countless hours to get the project to completion.
New Wayfinding
Many of the signs around Timberview are 30 years old and it shows. The Asphalt Project came in under budget, which allowed for the opportunity to update the wayfinding in Timberview. The DRB Application was reviewed and approved on June 16th. Install of the new signs will occur on July 29th. Renderings of the signs are here.
New Website
This new, secure website was built to replace the old site (built in 1998). The board utilizes this site to make communication seamless and timely. All things Timberview are in one place, for you to access. The new forum was built to create a place for you to contact your neighbors and friends. Please check back frequently and take a look at the events happening in Timberview.
Tree Project
Realizing there were many trees in need of attention, Timberview Board took on the task of a comprehensive tree review, with Arborist, Joe Estrada, from SavATree. In the months that followed, countless trees were trimmed and many were removed. In Spring 2020, the replanting phase began.
Tackling Erosion
Erosion Projects are ongoing in Timberview. Bob Dunmyer has been working closely with Riverbend Landscaping, to address some of the many problem areas around Timberview. We were able to improve erosion with some of the curb work, in correlation with the road project. There have been some great improvements in water flow and erosion.
Digital Storage
For about 30 years, all the Timberview files have lived in a growing number of bank boxes. As of Spring 2020, we were paying for 10 boxes to be stored on behalf of Timberview. As a part of the transition to a new management, we have scanned all important documents and shredded 230 pounds of paper. 1 box and a hard drive now house our important files. We couldn’t help but keep the floppy disk we found.
Asphalt
Following guidance from a study conducted in 2018, Timberview Board replaced the asphalt in May, 2020. After interviewing 5 asphalt companies, Dominion Paving was selected. In conjunction with paving, many new sidewalks were installed and several erosion projects improved the neighborhood.
Landscaping
After interviewing 5 landscaping companies and putting out an RFP, Timberview Board hired a new landscaping company for the start of the Spring 2020 year. We have been very pleased with the results. Bladerunners is providing top notch service and Timberview is looking amazing! Bladerunners is also providing snow removal during the winter.
Landscape Lighting
During the Asphalt Project, we were able to add some new infrastructure in Timberview. Conduit now runs under our new roads, giving us the ability to run electricity to many areas where we did not have that option. Adding additional security to low lit areas will be a huge improvement. This addition will add beauty and function, after dark. The outdoor lighting project will be introduced in phases, as budget allows. DRB Application
